KONE has been awarded a five-year contract from Marina Bay Sands to maintain the elevators and escalators at the integrated resort in Singapore.

The Marina Bay Sands resort features three soaring hotel towers crowned by the Sands SkyPark bridging the towers. KONE provided the majority of the elevators and escalators at the resort which opened in 2010. KONE's preventive maintenance program, KONE Care(TM), includes a unique maintenance plan for the site and each piece of equipment. This will ensure the smooth and safe running of the elevators and escalators and provide uninterrupted People Flow® to the guests of the resort.

"We are very pleased to continue working with Marina Bay Sands in such an iconic building and to provide the services that will ensure smooth People Flow for the guests at this extremely successful resort," says Noud Veeger, EVP and Area Director of KONE Asia Pacific and Middle East.
